This is catchy dawg

It's a very mellow, relaxing, reflecting, and jazzy melody!

but it does get boring.

but it's still sweet.

Oh hey, that pianos nice.

Pianos are pretty cool. So are guitars and bass.

As well as drums.

That ending is greaaaat

Quarl responds:

har, thanks for the review :D Glad you liked it. It does get boring i'll admit that, but I don't really know what to do to change that boringness.

We need more of this on NG

Your stuff is underappreciated.

Hi

First of all, let's get the cons out

-The 303 in the beginning is too loud
-Later in the song, some deep blippy thing came in -- it was off tune, kinda annoying.
-It's pretty random

Now, for the good stuff

+Good quality
+Good drum variation
+It's really not that bad.

BIOHAZARD responds:

thanks. what do you mean"the 303 in the beginning is too loud"?

Hey!

Definitely a step above most of the crap by noobs here in the audio portal. It's certainly not super original or anything, but it shows promise into the next step of your audio hobby :>

I voted five for ya

F-777 responds:

Thanks man =). Very nice review!

hmm..

Eh, I see you have been making songs for a while.

When I reviewed your song Radioproof a while ago I thought you were a total noob. But,

for some reason you have yet to improve on one basic thing -- making a melody that gives any kind of feel. Most of the main melodies in your songs lack any structure or chord.

other than that, this is okay

Arnas responds:

Thanks for the review. What kind of feel do you mean?

Hmmm

Great skill and technique, Dimrain... but, there is one problem and its a big one: Out of the box samples! Please get some new synths and samples!

Hmm

Very trippy. Reversed cymbals in the drum loop.. secksy. There is a minor problem with said drum loop though -- the quality of it is kinda bad. The blippy pad-ish thing is pretty cool. I like the phasing of that rough synth. It's a pretty mellow piece. Nice work, the drums and their quality is the only bad part.

LfunkeyA responds:

thanks for the review. yeah, i over-distorted them a little, but i'm fixing it now, might post an improved version sometime. keep it up.

Hmm

If anyone's wondering, the overlay on this song is Craig Armstrong - Escape.

As for the vocals, they're alright. However, they're a little too loud, and when they fade out, the overlay becomes prominent again and it just feels weird and out of place.

Perhaps lowering the vocals volume and adding bass.

Hawt

Secksy drums.. It makes me think of a guy just sitting in a room looking out a window and its dusk outside in the city, thinking. Contemplating.

So obviously the name fits perfect imo. It sounds like something is missing though? I'm not sure what you could add that wouldn't ruin the atmosphere.

Excellent quality too

I'd love a review by you on my latest

Excellent

It sounds like you reversed some of the drum sample sounds.. I like it :D

It's well themed, and making a song themed to something like this is a great accomplishment.

The sitar thing was great.. thats what it is right?

Its kind of like that one song by Paragon.

Definitely some quality stuff here,
5/5

I'd love your opinion on my latest
peace

NemesisTheory responds:

Thank you! I do have to say it was quite the experiment, could've backfired, but all the more happy people seem to enjoy it.

Yes, indeed, it is a sitar. :)

Thank you for the review, and I'll drop in soon. Or, right now actually.
